Friends of Slovakia
At Barney Studio, we love working for non-profits (NGOs) from all over the world. This is also the case with Friends of Slovakia, a traditional association of Slovaks living in the USA, primarily in the Washington, D.C. area. For Friends of Slovakia, we took care of the ideation, visuals, and programming for the new website.
When creating a website for a non-profit, association or any interest group, it is necessary to emphasize the diversity of target groups. We conceived the website in a simple and effective way, so that all age groups, which in this case are from 15 – 80 years old, could find important information on it.
We have concentrated on highlighting the important elements of the site (content and articles) and also on emphasizing the importance of the contributions – that is why the “Donate” button is highlighted. We conceived the design of the site based on a broad UX analysis so that the site would last for many years.
